The Story

Tailwind was founded over 5 years ago, stemming from Wheel-Tec, a leading custom wheelbuilding company with more than 25 years of experience. Wheel-Tec works with a very carefully composed range of pure quality parts. Tailwind was created with the goal of building lighter, stronger, and more durable wheels than those available on the market, while also being agile enough to adopt the latest technological advancements and materials. This approach allows us to craft both the strongest and lightest wheels in the industry. Since our founding, we have grown and expanded in both scope and team. With partners worldwide and a diverse mix of influences, we strive to stay exciting, modern, and relevant across every discipline.
