BEACH

The Tailwind rims in this segment are specifically designed for running on ultra-low tire pressures. The reinforced (hookless) rim flanges can withstand a beating and hold tubeless tires well.
The 45mm deep toroid aero design of the AR series is symmetrical for better crosswind stability. Despite the impressive rim dimensions, we managed to keep the weight very low, resulting in an agile and responsive ride.

If you don't want aero/high profile then the FX SLS30 is your rim!


FX SLS

The FX SLS30 is a true all-rounder. It is the ideal rim for the beach if you don't want a high profile rim. Low profile, wide, strong, light.

AR

The AR32-45, with a very special wide & aero profile, offers significant advantages for Beach (racing) adventures. The rim offers great stability at low pressures for the wide beach tires, but also aero efficiency due to it's deep profile, while keeping cross wind trouble low.


Tailwind wheels are built as standard with DT Swiss 240EXP hubs and steel Sapim spokes, Erase hubs with Berd spokes or HW hubs with Carbon spokes. For fully custom wheels with Tailwind rims, please refer to our custom wheel building company Wheel-Tec.
